Launching Equity: A source for curated global investment news

Equity is our new blog dedicated to global private equity, venture capital, and M&A news. Think of it as a curated feed. We don’t try to cover everything, but instead hand-pick the investment stories that matter most and that the world is actually paying attention to.

This makes it different from this site, Echo Point Global. Echo Point Global is where we track startup funding news in detail, with a focus on new rounds and founders raising capital.

Equity takes a step back to look at the bigger picture, including the cross-border deals, the major funds being raised, and the investment flows that shape industries and markets worldwide.

This launch is special for us because it’s the first news blog we’re sharing publicly. It’s part of a bigger vision: building out more content-driven websites under our studio and media division. We see each site as a small, focused publication that serves its audience clearly and purposefully.

The site itself is designed to be minimal and distraction-free. We chose monospaced fonts on purpose because they put readability first. The clean layout means you can quickly scan the headlines and dive into the stories without getting lost in clutter.

In a world of noisy feeds and algorithm-driven news, we wanted to create something slower, simpler, and more useful.

We wanted to create the kind of website that’s straightforward, clean, and focused only on the deals that matter: no clutter, no filler, just the essential stories shaping investment today.

What’s next?

For now, we aim to publish at least two stories per day, keeping things fresh and easy to follow. We want to gradually scale once we receive some feedback from readers who are looking for specific details.

While we’ve kept the scope broad at launch, just like Echo Point Global, we’re planning on putting a sharper lens on Asia as the site grows.
